Question: Does QicsTime work with Exact Synergy Enterprise?
Yes, using a combination of QicsTime and Exact Synergy Enterprise will allow you to:
- Synchronize customers, employees, items and projects
- Import agenda topics into the QicsTime weekly balance sheet
- Create requests during entry
- Create workflow requests based on the expense proposals in QicsTime
- Create documents in Exact Synergy from the invoices in QicsTime
Question: Can QicsTime be fully integrated with Exact?
Yes, QicsTime uses the Software Development Kit (SDK) to exchange data between Exact and QicsTime. There is no need to enter data twice and it is properly validated (verified whether it meets the conditions for its creation in Exact).
Exact Globe:
- Create invoice lines and process them
- Import purchase entries
- Cost entries at project level
- Revenue entries at project level
Exact Synergy:
- Import agenda topics into the QicsTime weekly balance sheet
- Create requests during entry
- Create workflow requests based on the expense proposals in QicsTime

Question: Is QicsTime web-based?
Yes, using QicsTime various tasks can be performed over the Internet, including entering and approving the hours worked, managing master data and viewing reports.
Question: How many user licenses are needed to purchase for QicsTime?
One software license needs to be purchased for each employee for whom the hours worked are to be recorded.
Question: Is it possible in QicsTime to specify the projects and/or activities for which employees can record hours worked in order to prevent errors?
Yes, for each project it can be determined which employees can record hours as well as the activities they can record having done.
Question: Does QicsTime come with many standard reports?
Yes, more than 50 standard reports are available in QicsTime, including reports on:
- Hours entered
- Amounts invoiced
- Budget versus Realization
- Work in progress
- Productivity
Question: Is it possible to send intercompany invoices using QicsTime?
Yes, using QicsTime's Intercompany module it is possible to send settlements automatically between the various business units.
Question: Is it possible to record flexible price agreements in QicsTime?
QicsTime offers many ways of recording price agreements, for projects based on final costs as well as for advance payments, fixed fees and contracts. This eliminates the need to consider rates and conditions when billing is taking place. The invoice proposals automatically contain the agreed prices.
Question: Is there an easy way to adjust invoice proposals?
QicsTime offers the possibility of editing invoice proposals to create the desired invoice. You can edit, add or write off the number of hours and amounts and/or move them to a later period. You can edit invoice lines in various ways and add them either manually or move them to another invoice proposal or another customer. In short, everything can be changed. QicsTime always keeps a detailed record of any changes and saves the hours originally recorded. The work in progress will always be up to date and analysis of any changes can be done at a later date.
