Often employees will find having to record their expenses and the number of hours actually worked a tedious operation. However, if they do not do this in an accurate and timely fashion, the billing procedure may be adversely affected. QicsTime makes sure that it takes them as little time as possible. Employees can choose between three different entry screens. Employees working on a long-term project are offered different preferences to employees working on different projects on a daily basis. The rapid selection of the right project is made easy by intuitive search functionality and by showing lists containing bookmarked and recent projects. Furthermore it is possible to move and copy weekly balance sheets. QicsTime is of course web-based, allowing employees to update the weekly balance sheets even when they are not in the office.

Editing invoice proposals

QicsTime offers various ways of recording price agreements, for projects based on final costs as well as for advance payments, fixed fees and contracts. This eliminates the need to consider rates and conditions during the billing process. The invoice proposals automatically contain the agreed prices. Subsequently QicsTime allows editing of these invoice proposals to create the desired invoice. It is possible to edit, add or write off the number of hours and amounts and/or move them to a later period. Invoice lines can be edited in different ways. They can be added either manually or moved to another invoice proposal or another customer. In short, everything can be changed. QicsTime always keeps a detailed record of any changes and saves the hours originally recorded. A company’s work in progress will always up to date and analysis of any changes can be done at a later date.

Unlimited possibilities for invoice layout

An invoice is a company’s business card. In some cases a client will require a certain invoice layout. If QicsTime is used, it is possible to deliver any invoice layout, while reflecting the corporate design, with or without a specification. Invoice layouts can be linked to individual customers and projects, ensuring that the right invoice is always printed. Exact Synergy allows the user to save the invoice automatically in Exact Synergy as a PDF file. Once QicsTime is used, it is also possible to send invoices to clients electronically.

Carefree intercompany billing

To companies that have placed staff and projects in various accounting systems, QicsTime offers the possibility of handling the hiring or hiring out of employees this involves entirely through accounting procedures. QicsTime generates the intercompany invoices and the right daybook entries for revenue-related costs. Detailed financial accounting

QicsTime produces 54 standard reports. From their various perspectives, these reports should provide insight into the time and billing process and project results. They enable project managers to control and monitor their projects and also give Heads of department the necessary insight into the hours worked by their employees.
